Tom Kubishta
Tom Kubishta is the Regional Director for Wiley Efficient Learning in New England. Tom has been involved in Professional Education for 13 years. Previously the majority of Tom’s career was in retail Marketing and Operations, working with Staples-The Office Superstore. Well- travelled, Tom has worked in 15 US states from coast to coast and lived and worked internationally in Hamburg, Germany and High Wycombe, UK.
Tom is also a commercial rated pilot, and a certified flight instructor (CFI) and spent several years in higher education as an instructor and adjunct professor.
When it comes to high stakes certification exams, Tom considers himself a “method actor”, that is to say: “To do it, is to know it”. Accordingly, when he started in this industry, despite not having a accounting degree, indeed having only 9 hours of undergraduate accounting courses, he sat for and passed a section of the CPA exam.
Tom resides in Southern New Hampshire with his wife Lee, and an adopted cat (Columbus) which their kids left behind when they moved out for college
